    The college-coach viewing list was accurate, which is more than I can say for most events that advertise one. Four days is a lot of hockey for an eighteen-skater roster; we rotated goalies and still had tired legs by the placement game.

    Rink is first class and the video review on centre ice was a nice touch. Officiating varied a lot between games. Two of ours were tightly managed and one got away from the crew entirely.

    We had two families with hotel points wanting to book elsewhere and were told the team would be pulled. The event is well run and the ice is excellent, but the accommodation policy plus credit-only refunds means the real cost is a lot more than the 2450 entry suggests.

    Nobody else in the region gives you five games at AAA over a long weekend, and the Iceplex is a genuinely good building. Read the refund policy first: it is credit-only, and we lost a roster spot to injury and got nothing back in cash.
