For organizers

Pay for tools, exposure and evidence. Never for a grade.

Organizers can pay for tools, exposure, verification and insight. They cannot pay for a grade.

Membership

Five tiers, and the first one is free and permanent. Every event our researchers compile is already on it, with a full 100-point GameVoyaGrade and open reviews, whether or not the organizer has heard of us — gating the baseline would turn a comparison into a members’ list and make the table worthless. The paid tiers sell control of the record, the right to answer in public, and the audience data we already hold. They do not sell the two things a visitor came for.

One of the five is not a subscription. GameVoya Single Event is $249 paid once, for one tournament, for 12 months — the same tools as GameVoya Verified with nothing to renew and nothing to cancel. It is there because an organizer who runs one weekend a year should not have to start a monthly plan and then remember to stop it. It costs less than two months of GameVoya Verified and holds for twelve, so the subscription only becomes the cheaper way to buy a calendar of events from the eighth one on — and we would rather say so than price it to push you upstairs. Below that line what the subscription buys is covering every event you run without deciding one at a time, plus the benchmarking that only means anything across a calendar. One weekend a year, pay once.

Quoted per organization

In US dollars. The subscriptions are monthly and cancellable at the end of any month; GameVoya Single Event is billed once and simply ends. Either way, dropping back to GameVoya Listed removes the badge, the analytics and the response tools; it does not remove your listing, your grade or your reviews, because none of those were ever ours to withhold.

What is open today

Nine streams are priced further down this page. Five are the launch model, and one of those five is not open yet and says so. A price list is also a promise to deliver, and a handful of products delivered properly are worth more than nine announced.

Every way GameVoya can be paid

Including the ones that are not built. Each row carries the mechanism that keeps it away from the ratings, because “we would never” is not a mechanism.

Verified organizer subscription

Open
$149–349 per month

Claimed profile, verified information, review responses, analytics and the Verified badge.

Verification is a check we run, worth grade points to nobody: it is not one of the four gradeable facts, because it is ours to award rather than the organizer’s to publish.

Single-event listing fee

Open
$249 per event, once

The same claimed profile, review responses and analytics as the subscription, for one tournament, paid once.

It buys the same tools on a shorter leash, and the tools do not include the grade. A one-off fee cannot reach a number a subscription cannot reach either.

Tournament certification

Open
$499–1,500 per event

Independent inspection of one event and, if it passes, annual certification.

The certificate is published beside the grade, never inside it. An inspection can end with no certificate and the fee is not refunded.

Sponsored placement

Open
$149 per tournament

Labelled placement in searches, comparisons, email and on the homepage.

Placements are lifted out of the ranked table into a labelled band. Nothing inside the ranking moves, and a filtered-out event stays out.

Registration commission

Planned
3%–6% or $25–75 per team

Teams register for the event through GameVoya and we are paid per registration.

A commission is the one stream with an obvious incentive to push expensive events, which is why cost per game is the column the table sorts on and the commission is invisible to it.

Organizer intelligence

Planned
$149–499 per month

Competitor comparisons, pricing benchmarks and improvement recommendations.

It reports the grade an organizer already has and what would move it. Reading the arithmetic out loud is the product; running it differently is not for sale.

Badge licensing

Planned
Included with a subscription, or $299 per year

Permission to display a current grade or certificate on your own site and adverts.

The badge renders the current figure and expires with it, so a licence cannot freeze a grade an event no longer earns.

Local marketplace

Planned
$50–500 per month

Advertising and leads for restaurants, photographers, apparel vendors and local attractions.

The buyers are not the organizers being graded, so there is nothing here to lean on. Placements are labelled and sit outside the table.

Custom reports

Planned
$1,500–10,000

Market-entry, location and tournament-demand research, written to order.

Research we sell an operator is research, not standing. It never touches their listing.

How a fee is paid, and what paying does

Two routes, and which one a deploy offers depends only on whether a payment processor is connected to it. Where one is, a fee can be settled by card at the end of a submission, on the processor’s own hosted page — no card details reach this site and none are stored here. Where one is not, every fee is invoiced by email to the contact address after moderation — from info@gamevoya.com, which is also where a query about an invoice goes. Nothing is ever charged as a form is being filled in, and a submission we cannot verify against the organizer’s own event page is not billed on either route.

It records the money and nothing else
A cleared payment writes two columns: the payment record’s own status, and the payment status of the tournament it names. Those are the only two writes the webhook is capable of.
It does not publish a listing
Publication is a separate column, and no payment path writes it. A paid submission lands as pending on the same moderation queue as a free one, and is refused if it does not match your own event page.
It does not start a placement
A placement is its own column, set by a moderator after the money clears and the listing has been checked. Paying records that the fee was settled; a human still grants the band.
It cannot reach either rating
The grader takes a listing and a per-sport median and no aggregate, and never imports the pricing module at all. There is no code path from a card to a GameVoyaGrade or an Attendee Rating.

Not for sale, at any tier

  • A better GameVoyaGrade

The grader never reads a plan, a fee or a certificate. Publishing more facts moves a grade; paying us does not.

  • A better Attendee Rating

It is a moderated average of what attending teams and scouts filed. Organizers cannot file one, and no tier can edit or remove one.

  • A higher rank

Sponsored events are lifted into a labelled band above the table, never sorted up inside it. The ranked order is the grade’s.

  • A place in a search you do not match

Filters run before placements. Filter to soccer and a sponsored hockey event is absent.

  • Publication

Paid or free, a submission joins the same moderation queue, and a claim that is not on your own event page is corrected or refused.

All five are properties of the code rather than promises. The grader takes the published record and a per-sport median and has no argument a payment could arrive through; placements are lifted out of the ranked table instead of sorted up inside it; and filters run before placements. The full arithmetic is on the methodology page, which is where to check us rather than take our word.

What money never touches: the reviews

The Attendee Rating is filed by the teams and scouts who went. Organizers cannot file one that counts — the role is absent from the form, rejected at the server boundary, and excluded from every average in SQL, three layers because one of them is a policy and three of them are a mechanism. A paid tier buys the ability to answer a review in public, on the listing, labelled as the organizer. It never buys an edit, a delay or a deletion.

Claim your event, free

Submitting an event puts it on GameVoya Listed at no cost and matches it to any record we already compiled. You pick a paid tier on the same form, or never. Nothing is charged as you fill it in: a fee can be settled by card afterwards, on the processor’s own hosted page, or left to the invoice we send the contact address once a researcher has checked the submission against your own event page. Either way the listing goes to moderation, and one that cannot be verified is not billed.
