What to expect
The largest adult amateur baseball tournament in the world by entries, run across the Phoenix valley's spring-training and municipal fields over three weeks each autumn, with age divisions from 25 up. Pool play gives a team between four and six games depending on its division, and four is what is recorded -- the same convention this index uses for a fee published as a band, which is to record the figure the operator actually commits to and name the range in the description rather than the flattering end of it. No team entry price was published when this listing was compiled. The three weeks are now published and the recorded window spans all of them: Week One from 18 to 24 October takes the 25+, 40+, 50+ and 70+ divisions, Week Two from 25 to 31 October the 35+, 55+, 65+, 73+, 80+ and father-and-son divisions, and Week Three from 1 to 7 November the 45+, 60+ and 75+ divisions. Which week a team plays is decided by its division rather than chosen. Venues are spread across Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa and Scottsdale and are not named on the division pages.
