    Same council as the football cup and the same standard: shot clocks, statisticians, officials who turn up briefed. Six games in February indoors is exactly what we want and the hotel block was offered rather than forced on us.

    Ran perfectly and the U18 field was better than we expected. At 245 US a game it sits above what we would normally pay, though the ten courts and indoor climate go some way to explaining it. Credit-only refunds inside a month are worth flagging.

    Proper seating, air conditioning and a printed schedule that held. Getting visas sorted took longer than the organisers suggested it would, so start that early.
