    Organisation was excellent and the schedule held. It is crowded: 144 teams on one park means queues for food and for toilets. Bring your own lunch and it is a lovely weekend.

    Five games for 760 euro comes out around 152 a game against 440 for the American showcases we looked at. Pitches were in good condition on the Monday, which says something after 144 teams had been on them.

    Registration for the 2027 edition opened in September 2026 and the U13 division filled inside three weeks. Set a calendar reminder. The event itself was superb and the tram access meant we did not hire a bus.

    Everything on one park. Players walked between fixtures, parents sat in one place all day, and we got five real games. The referee mentors on site visibly improved the younger crews over the weekend. This is how a festival should work.
